Check belt (#25132-004500. Replaces #25152-004400)


Clean raw-water strainer


Check electrical connections

Change oil


Check all hoses and tighten hose clamps


Tighten fuel lines


Check transmission oil

Every 200 hours

Change oil filter (filter # YAN119305-35151)


Sample oil for lab analysis

Every 300 hours

Change transmission oil


Change fuel filters Primary: RAC2010TM-OR. (10mic) 2nd-ary: YAN129470-55703


Clean circular air wire mesh with soap and water


Sample bottom of fuel tank

Every 500 hours

Check/tighten engine bolts if necessary


Replace coolant system hoses if they show signs of wear


Replace raw-water injection elbow on the exhaust if it shows signs of corrosion

Every Year

Replace coolant with Prestone and FPPF 4000 additive


Replace impeller: 129470-42531(L) or Globe 075 12-fin


Inspect intake manifold


Degrease and touch up paint


Clean siphon break valve in exhaust system

Every 6 Years or 700 hours

Replace exhaust elbow

Replace fuel lift pump




ARIA Preventative Maintenance Schedule






Every 5 years or as Needed


Inspect zincs, prop, through-hulls and bottom paint

Use mild liquid abrasive to polish stainless

Touch up any exterior teak

Inspect and rebed deck fittings on regular rotation

Inspect prop for pitting, corrosion; replace prop zincs as needed. 1-1/4 shaft

Inspect bow thruster zinc and replace if needed. BP-1185.

Polish and wax hull

Paint bottom, if needed

Clean and grease winches

Apply clear topcoat to teak

Oil interior teak

Refinish cabin sole

Clean fuel tanks

Ground Tackle



End-for-end chain and rope rodes

Service windlass

Replace marks on rode

Regalvanize or replace chain



Check tune, fittings, welds and terminal ends

Clean and lube mast track

●Tighten all bimini bolts

●Tighten dinghy davits bolts

Complete mast and rig inspection, retune rig

Clean foil on roller furling

Inspect every sheet and halyard over entire length and replace if needed

●Lube inmast furler at masthead

Pull mast and refit rig; replace corroded wiring, fix any cracked welds, replace any suspect terminals

Remove mast boot, inspect mast partners, clean and reseal mast boot

Rebed chainplates



Inspect every sail for chafe and pulled stitches; repair as needed




●Descale head with vinegar

● As needed: Chlorinate fresh water lines with 8:1 water:bleach. Wait 2 hours, then flush.

Inspect, open and close all seacocks to be sure they are not frozen

●Inspect all hose clamps; replace or lube as needed

●Inspect all through-hulls above and below waterline; polish and lube as needed


Steering and Autopilot


●Inspect steering. Lube if needed

●Inspect autopilot. Service as needed

Inspect rudder bearings for leaking, binding

●Inspect steering system and replace any worn components

Repack or replace rudder bearings


Check battery fluid

Clean battery terminals

Check all major charging system connections for corrosion or loose wires.

Check all navigation and deck lightbulbs and connections

●Spray WD-40 on all electrical circuits to prevent corrosion






●Top up refrigerant in compressor

●Replace brushes



●Check all propane connections

Clean connections and refit with aluminum tape

●Sand and repaint tanks


Safety Gear


●Check EPIRB battery


●Have fire extinguishers serviced, if needed

●Inspect jacklines and replace if needed

●Replace materials in ditch kit. Verify that everything is working.

●Have liferaft serviced (2015)

●Replace EPIRB battery (2014)

●Replace PFD cartridges

Dinghy and outboard


Inspect dinghy painter for chafe

Clean dinghy

Change engine oil

Change gear oil

Fresh bottom paint on dinghy (if needed)

Replace painter

Service outboard
